Stationed on recon. Desert is cold at night, delightful. Makes think of last base in Ontario. Lots of pretty stabby trees.

Found large boarded-up building four clicks west of Battery. Saw a flicker of light from inside, so decided to investigate. Most of the doors were locked, except for back porch. Found big box on table with small girl that looks like large hostage, oddly. Did not move if poked. Decided to bring back for Dracs to have fun with. Tried to shove in backpack, but too fat, so carried over shoulders. Hope Dracs like.
